Personal Branding

“A personal Brand is something what people say about your experience and skills when you are not in the room”.

Your personal brand is one of the most valuable assets you can control. Your brand helps you build a career, sell better, start a business or even starts a movement. The Laws of Marketing

Marketing is more based on science than creativity. Marketing is a science because it is about understanding and influencing behaviors, studies how people react to certain stimuli in predictable ways. This is a similar to Newton’s third law-cause and effect. For every marketing action, there is a reaction. It is about measuring and analyzing the numbers. How many prospects do you reach? How many people read your massage? How many do you convert your buyers? How much do you spend? How many buy again? What return can you expect from your marketing investment? That’s an important question and it is measurable like science.

These are mathematical questions and answers and important to the success of your marketing. On the other hand, marketing is an art because marketing is about creating a demand for your product. Some of that demand if immediate and some of it is in the future. You can try to use science to predict the future part but you might pick a number based on art. There is always an unknown aspect that we attribute to art. There is the issue of branding which is different to measure. Investment requires a creative approach. That means that you need to apply the art of marketing. that is difficult to measure but it is necessary.

I believe that many marketers try to portray marketing as art when they can’t measure their results. Hence, they give up responsibility for their marketing programs. They suggest that marketing is all chance. Many self-declared branding experts talk about the art of branding and refuse to face the science of measurement. Don’t be fooled by that hocus-pocus.

Marketing is a battle of perceptions. Product is rooted in reality. Never let marketing become more important than the product. A great product sells itself. A great product converts your customers into brand ambassadors. Marketing is the best channel of marketing itself. Advertising, copywriting and sales are one of the components of marketing. you need a great product, but marketing not just helps people discover the product, but also have a good perception of the product.

The Fundamentals of Marketing

You’ve started your dream business or you’ve landed your first marketing gig, but where do you begin? Identifying your marketing strategy and developing your first marketing campaign can be done with these four fundamental steps.

01 Know Your Target

Who are you trying to reach? Have you identified your niche? What do they look like? What do they do? What do they read? Where can you find them?

If you’ve done your homework, you should be able, to answer all of the above. Often business owners and even marketers think that if you cast the net wide you will reach more people, but the opposite true. When you cast your net wide you miss the ability to hone your craft,

tailor your message and reach the pain point of those you are looking to serve. More is not necessarily better. Focus is always better. Know your audience like the back of your hand. Why will they purchase what we offer? Why will they object?

Let’s say that you wanted to be bilingual. You wouldn’t study both French and Spanish at the same time because you might learn both at the average level. You more than likely wouldn’t be great at either, because you would be sharing your focus.

A narrow focus empowers you and strengthens the impact you can have in the marketplace. It’s like marketing yourself as a general doctor versus a doctor specialized in working with children.

02 Educate on Your Benefits

Now that you know your audience. You can educate them on your benefits, Features, and why they should buy your product or service. You’ve eliminated the noise, and you can speak directly to them. What do you want them to hear? What do you want to tell them about what you offer? What do you want them to remember about your business?

Brainstorm, bullet out those features if you are selling to consumers and bullet out the benefits and cost savings if you are trying to reach other businesses. Do your bullets pass the “so-what” test? If so, you are ready to move to the next stop.

03 Craft a Strong Call to Action

Now you’ve identified your target, and you’ve listed out your features and/or benefits. Great work! You now must focus on what you want your prospects to do. What’s the call to action?

If you are focused on a particular campaign what are the success measures of that campaign? Do you want them to call? Do you want them to buy something? Do you want them to submit an inquiry?

Be clear about your expectations. Once you’ve identified the course of action you want them to take, make sure you’ve removed any obstacles from them doing so. For example:

· Is telephone number clearly seen?

· Does your inquiry form structure work?

· Can they purchase via telephone, Online or in a brick-and-mortar store easily?

Test the process. You’d amazed at how difficult we make it for prospects to complete the desired action. Make the transaction easy, no matter what the call of action zero tolerance for obstacles.

04 Measure, Monitor, Log, Report, and Learn

Now that you’ve put in the work and you are ready to push your campaign live be sure to measure and monitor the progress. Learn from your efforts: it will come in handy for each campaign that follows.

What were the results? Did they meet our expectations? If so, why? If not, why? Know the answers to these questions, understand the answers, identify how you can make a campaign better, identify what worked. Log these answers, analyze the data and work to make each subsequent campaign better.

Integrated Digital Marketing

Integrated Digital Marketing encompasses the idea of creating a unique form of expression that’s easy to identify in all of the channels your customer uses.

It’s like using a single language to speak in different situations. That means it’s a strategy that blends all your marketing tactics. Then, each campaign and approach complement the other, creating a consistent image on the mind of the users and tracing a journey for them to go on. But integrated Digital Marketing also means having a well-structured and well-defined marketing plan.

that includes taking care of the online presence by managing different channels of the digital world.

It involves making sure your organization is on the web, where your customer already is.

All those efforts should point in one direction only and express the same image to the mind of the users.

The Importance of Communication Skills

Good marketing is all about good communication. Good communication does not mean sophisticated English. Good communication does not care about vocabulary or grammar. Am I able to transfer my thoughts to you effectively is the only question to ask. Effective communication in marketing is all about delivering the message efficiently. It develops an emotional link between the marketer and target audience. Write as you talk. Join a conversation in people mind. Understand your target audience very well. Write a lot. The more you write, the better you can write (and also speak). Writing slows down your thought process and gives you clarity. Think in English.

How to Set Financial Goal

Money drives many decisions that we make day to day. Setting goals can help us take control and feel more confident about those decisions. Financial goals are the personal, big pictures objective you set. They can be things you hope to achieve in the short term or further down the road. It is often easier to reach your goals if you identify them in advance.

“Having financial goals can shape your future by influencing the actions you take today.”

From the above chart, we can analyze how to make rupees 1 crore with various methods. We can make 1 crore by either having 1,00,000 customers and product price as Rs, 100 or having 10,000 customers and product price as 1,000 or having 1,000 customers and products price as Rs10,000 or having just 100 customers and product price as Rs. 1,00,000. Or having just 100 customers and product price as Rs. 1,00,000. This 1 crore that we are making is not profit but revenue. In the same way, if you want to earn more you can modify this chart.

I believe that marketing is a science that should draw upon art. Never let art dictate the direction of your marketing. Use science to determine major decisions and use the art for the nuances. Most importantly the science should lead and measure; the art should inspire and create. Through digital marketing, you can aware of your customers about your products. If your aim is to target a large sum of people, then digital marketing is a good way to communicate.
